The seasons of a woman’s life: a journey through inner landscapes

The descent: harvest, release, and the turn toward winter

Saturday 7th Nov 2026, 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hill Farm Tintern, NP16 6ST

A day to pause, to gather in, and to turn toward winter.

You are invited to a women-only day retreat at Hill Farm (hillfarmtintern.co.uk/), set amongst the rolling hills and wild beauty of the Wye Valley.

This is a day to step away from the noise of daily life and come home to yourself, to rest, to be nourished, and to reconnect with your body's wisdom and the season you are in right now.

We will journey through the inner seasons that live within us all, from the fresh energy and beginnings of spring, through the fullness and outward expression of summer, to the release and turning inward of autumn, and the deep rest and renewal of winter.

This November, as the year itself descends into its darker half, we will let the day follow that same arc. We gather and harvest through the morning, then turn gently inward through the afternoon, tending to what we are ready to lay down and preparing the soil of ourselves for winter's rest.

These seasons can reflect where we are in our menstrual cycle, our stage of life, or simply the natural ebb and flow of our energy.

This space is for you, whether you have a womb or not, whether you menstruate or not, and whether you are in your maiden years, mother years, in perimenopause, post-menopause, or anywhere in between. You are welcome here exactly as you are

Our day together

A spacious, nourishing journey through movement, rest, reflection and connection:

Arrival tea and nourishing snacks

A gathering circle to arrive, settle, and meet the season you are in

An oracle card and a moment of journaling to carry with you through the day

Gentle guided pranayama to quiet the mind

A seasonal yoga flow, rising through spring and summer before the turn

Organic homemade lunch, shared at our harvest table

A silent walk and a releasing ritual beneath the trees, weather permitting, tending what you are ready to let go of before winter

Restorative autumn yin to soften, slow, and come to rest

A sharing circle with journaling and optional speaking, honouring your current season of womanhood or life

Yoga Nidra, deep rest and guided relaxation as the year turns inward

A gentle integration to gather yourself before the journey home

Closing circle

The day is an invitation to rest, nourish your body, and connect with yourself, your body, and a community of women walking their own unique paths.

  • "I had a really wonderful time at Maga's retreat. The day was carefully organised, clearly led and set within a beautiful location. I left feeling extremely grateful. Grateful to get the opportunity to pause and feel better connected to my mind, body, nature and the other women around me."

  • "I would thoroughly recommend attending a retreat organised by Maga. Her grounded, calm, spirited approach and teaching helped my experience and the flow of the day. She was attentive to everyone's needs. I was recovering from a shoulder operation, so was unable to fully partake in elements of the day but she kept checking in with me, which was very reassuring."

  • "This is a an incredible experience offering grounding and connection to yourself and other women in a beautiful setting. There is more to this retreat than just yoga so if you’re open, there’s a lot to be gained. I felt hopeful again after a difficult year. Thanks Maga."

  • "This retreat offers a day of relaxation and connection with ourselves and other women. After this experience, I felt rejuvenated without anxious thoughts. Maga provides thoughtful guidance througout the day, which included yoga exercises, meditations, journaling and other grounding activities. I could feel how much love and dedication went into planning the day, making me feel special for having the opportunity to be there and benefit by feeling connected and grounded."

    — Liset

  • "The retreat, in its setting amongst the trees, was truly nourishing, from the yoga practice to the delicious home-made food provided. Sharing space in nature with other women at all seasons in life was grounding and inspiring, and the reminder I needed to re-connect with my cycle and be kinder to myself. I appreciated there being no pressure to speak and share our own journeys, just a warm invitation if we felt called to. Thank you Maga for sharing your time and learnings with us - I left with heart, mind and body restored!"

About Me

I’m a women’s empowerment and embodiment coach, menstruality mentor, yoga facilitator, and ceremonial space holder.

All of my work is rooted in cyclical wisdom. I support women in reconnecting with the outer cycles of nature, such as the moon phases and the seasons, as well as the inner cycles of the feminine body, including the menstrual cycle and the stages of womanhood. This understanding of cycles is reflected in everything I offer, whether through one-to-one sessions, yoga classes, workshops, or women’s circles.

This work is about remembering how to live in relationship with your body and the natural world, rather than against them. It is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and restore trust in your own rhythm, energy, and intuition.

After the energy of summer, we gather to recalibrate. To tend to our soil before winter. To remember that rest is sacred.

Refund Policy

All bookings are non refundable.

You are also welcome to gift or transfer your space to a friend if you can no longer attend. Please let me know their name and contact details in advance.

Thank you for understanding and honouring the energy and preparation that goes into creating this offering.
